"I retired from motocross and bought a harley in may. I went to every dealer in ct and checked them out the shop the sales floor the showroom bikes, I have concluded that Gengras is the place I will be taking my custom for service. Everytime I have walked into your facility the greeter has always smiled and greeted me with a freindly hello can we help you find something. I am always impressed when I come to gengras,I am pretty hard to win over but you all at Gengras just make me melt in your hands like butter. My custom sporty will be needing a spring tune up and I will be bringing it in sometime in january maybe sooner if i can get a free moment other than the weekend. "WOW what can I say I just love my 06 Custom Road King (Goldie), She's my 1st HD not to mention my 1st bike all together... I have wanted a Harley since the early 90's but being in the military & on the go, I figured I'd wait until I retired and no longer moving around.. You guys @ Gengras have been wonderful to me.. I had been actively looking for 2 years, not knowing much about the different models Jan (I am so sorry he's gone) was instrumental in my purchase. He taught me about different models, & lead me to the Custom (sits lower for my shorter legs). Originally I wanted a Fatboy but I am happier w/ the Road King. Thanks Much to Jan and also Mark who ran my #'s.. After my purchase I said to Jan ""Finally" he laughed in his deep Jan voice and said yea it only took 2 years..!! We both laugh (nice moment)... "Just purchased a 2008 Ultra Classic Ann. Special after a long 2 years of frequent visits to Gengras, TSI and Brothers. Never felt rushed or pressurred by Jan, Doug or Mark to make a decision. "I had previously delt with another HD when I purchased my Sportster and NOT HAPPY with them. When I walked into Gengras I was instantly greeted and when I traded in my HD there they treated me as if I was there only customer. They were wonderful to work with, and as a female and knowing what I wanted, they didn't look down at me. From beginning to end were great. Now when I walk in they greet me by name(can you believe that) and ask if all is great and how is the bike. What more could a person ask. There parts dept. is also A plus. "Your parts dept. is truely amazing! I've been to other HD dealers for parts/accessories..."we can order it", Gengras.. "we've got it in stock". This has happened to me 2-3 times. When I was looking to change my handlebars on my 05 Road King Classic, Steve brought me out to the sales floor where you had a used Road King w/switched out bars on it for me to try, and let me behind the counter to a large rack of bars that also included a selection of aftermarket branded bars too! When I was looking for a set of optional mufflers, Shane took me outside to listen to a set he had on his bike. My cousin was up from FLA last year w/his Road King, his highway peg broke off the crash bar. He needed it now, and was prepared to buy a complete set since his were aftermarket. Your parts dept. not only had the same brand but had just the one part he needed w/o buying the complete set! I tell everybody about your great parts deppartment! Ron Higganum,CT "

"I would like to take this opportunity to tell you what a wonderful staff you have. I frequent the Harley shop and feel very comfortable there. In fact, I love going there. The girls in clothing and accessories are wonderful! They always go out of their way to assist me. I also go to the Ducati shop where Nicole is always very helpful and pleasant. The guys in parts (Harley and Ducati) have always been very helpful and pleasant. They all keep me coming back! I have purchased 2 bikes there in the past 18 months and am contemplating another motorcycle purchase. This is where I want to buy. Your sales guys have been great to me also. I have worked with Ed(Stuck), Jan and Forest. All have treated me with respect and patience. Being a woman motorcyclist, I can tell you that the way they treat me is very much appreciated. "I have to say that this dealership is probably the best I've visited in all areas. From the day I walked in to look at a 2006 Softail (which I bought) I was impressed with the staff here. Paul in sales was great. He explained everything to me. He was knowledgeable, and helpful, and not the lease bit pushy. The chrome specialist was very patient with me as I changed my mind about 5 times, as was the finance guy (sorry I forgot their names). I've been back many times to buy some extra chrome etc. Shane is always very helpful with suggestions & I get the same attention whether I'm there to spend $25 or $400. The reason I came to Gengras in the first place has to do with a problem I had with my old bike (1992 FXRS). I was in New Haven and could not get it started. One of the guys from the service department (again, sorry but I don't remember his name) worked on my bike in the street at 11:00 PM until we finally got it running and he gave me his cell phone # in case I had anpther problem on the way home. I will never go anywhere else."

"When we decided to purchase our bikes we stopped by many Harley dealers to find the perfect bike for us. We where in the market for 2 bikes a his and hers.On a saturday afternoon we set out to find Gengras and we found ourselves right in the middle of one of the largest rides that Gengras sponsors. "My husband had his heart set on a screaming eagle, we had no idea that gengras had one on the floor. We went there to just really look around to see what was available. When we ever walked in and saw a 2006 screaming eagle fatboy sitting there, well that just say's it all. I knew that the staff was going to be in for a long haul with my husband he alway's has hundred's of question's and is very time consuming.The first person we spoke to was Mike, Mike introduced us to Jan Wankowicz I think we took up to 4 hours or more of his time this day he was great. He never once seemed to act like he was getting impatient with us or even in a hurry to help another customer. He answered every question my husband asked. That was just the first day there was many day's from there on that we took up of their time until the deal's were done.The staff in parts and service was awesome, they had to of given many hours of time for question's making change's and then changing change's. Then my husband decide's to purchase another bike for me. WHAT A SURPISE. MY husband just brought me to the shop and Jan just started letting me sit on all the different style bike to make sure the bike fit me just right. He was very patient, never seemed like he was just in a hurry to make another sale.Once again changes was need and parts and service was great i really can't say enough. The girl's in clothing to the front desk are very kind, helpful. Everyone just seemed to go out of there way . Everyone worked as a team and it clicked well. I wish all my experience's could be this way where ever I go. Mark was wonderful. We bought our motorcylce's with cash so everything there went great also.The day came and they delivered our motorclyce's what a day THE BEST!!!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!! I most diffently will recommend anyone to go to Gengra's to purcahse a motorcylce or what ever there needs may be that is the place to go...Oh and i can't forget thank you to the girl's who helped me surpise everyone with pizza. "I bought my 2007 Street Glide from Gengras in March 2007. My experience with Jan, Lou, Mark and Lance was very pleasant and rewarding. I must say it is refreshing to be treated with such courteous and professional service. You guys (and girls) go the "extra mile" to satisfy. I have been to other HD dealers in the area in the past, and have not received the same service...not even close. All of the associates in service, parts, and accessories make me feel like they have my best interest in mind. The foxy ladies in the motor-clothes department, and at the front desk are very professional, and pleasant to deal with too!
